PAUL DURHAM
I’m a friendly, knowledgeable mechanic with over 21 years’ experience in maintaining vehicles to the highest standards.
Starting my own business has been extremely fun and enjoyable however it has come with a lot of hard work and scrapped knuckles along the way. The most memorable moment must be starting the new workshop from a blank canvas and building it into what it is today. Seeing a product of the effort that has been put in is rewarding and inspires me to continue.
Running a business is demanding and so spare time is rare which makes it so important to make the most of it. Spending time with my family is very important. I am a father of two boys and enjoy spending any free time I get with them.
ALEX SIRETT
Alex joined P D Motor Services Ltd in 2018 after completing three years at college studying mechanics. Alex has built up a vast amount of knowledge whilst with us and now runs the workshop. Alex covers the bigger jobs in the workshop, from clutch replacements, to timing belts and engine replacements. He enjoys working on classic cars the most and owns a classic Mini and Transit van, which keep him busy in the evenings and weekends! If Alex isn’t under a car, you can find him on some sort of adventure in his Mini.
RYAN LAIDLAW
Ryan has recently joined us and looks after the servicing, brakes and tyre fittings. Ryan works very hard and nothing is too much trouble. We’re looking forward to seeing Ryan grow at P D Motor Services Ltd.
DEMI EDE
The newest to the team is Demi who runs the office and organises the workshop bookings. She is your point of contact and will keep you updated whilst we have your vehicle.

We know that vehicles can be frustrating and expensive when things go wrong, so we’ll use our knowledge and experience of working on all makes and models for the past 21 years to get you back on the road, quickly and cost effectively. We have experience ranging from service work to full engine rebuilds including all the bits in between.

We value every customer and take time to listen and understand. Not one customer has the same requirements and so we treat our customers on an individual bases with the highest level of service they deserve. Our customers do our advertising for us and we listen and act on reviews and comments that are given. We hope you come back time and time again and recommend us to friends and family.

QUALITY PARTS

We know the importance of your vehicle and that a job should be done right, first time. We only fit high quality trusted parts, from both manufacturer and aftermarket companies, depending on your budget. We have built up long relationships with our suppliers and so this will be positively reflected on our service to you.
We cover our workmanship and parts with a minimum of 12 months warranty, and on some parts unlimited mileage.

SAFETY FIRST

Safety is of the up most importance and so we will only release a vehicle from our workshop after multiple checks to ensure it is safe. This is to protect you, passengers and other road users including ourselves.

PAUL DURHAM - MY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

QUALIFIED MECHANIC

I started out as an apprentice for a local garage learning the trade. Back then cars were a lot simpler.
As the technology has changed I’ve had to keep myself up to date with the latest requirements and tools to be able to work on any vehicle that rolls into the workshop. I like to make sure that given any situation I’d like to at least be able to provide some help.

OVER 21 YEARS' EXPERIENCE

As the saying goes “time flies when you’re having fun!” and boy have the last few years whizzed by.
Setting up PD Motors has been a lot of hard work and effort to not only get off the ground but also keep momentum in the business to make a living out of it.
There’s a long road ahead but I’m keen to make a success of it for many more years to come.

NOW MY OWN BOSS

The buck starts and stops with me now, and the responsibility of looking after my own clients is very important to me.
I hope that I can provide you with a service and experience of getting your car or van fixed that is somewhat enjoyable compared to any previous experiences you may have had.
I want my business to grow and it can only do that by providing my customers with safe, reliable and affordable garages repairs to their vehicles.
